Don't worry about the lock tabs not being there... heck, by the mid '80's we were using tape or zip ties or whatever to hold the plugs together because the tabs had already broken off! :)
Were zip ties even invented back in the '80's?? lol (just looked it up)
Exhaust is so personal... 100% your call.
IF you like riding in an EV stay with the stock muffler. Want a little rumble go with something other than a Flowmaster unless you get at LEAST the 50 series to cut the drone that they are so well known for. I love a good dual exhaust with a rowdy cam...
I wouldn't install a Duraspark unless you use an ACTUAL Motorcraft blue module. Don't waste your time, your frustration when you become stranded when you buy a "Non-Motorcraft" Duraspark module. Gp bone yard even tho you don't like it is the way to find an OE, Motorcraft module (just order it...
Put 92 octane in 3x today! 5 gal to get me to tax free 92 octane (saved a $1.20/gal) where I put in 15 more to fill it & then 11 more gallons to get me home after wheeling all day.
Snow was getting sparse but both Tim's & I had a fun day! Probably the last snow wheeling day down there. Lots...
Yeah, but if your Bronco was original I think you can buy almost every part for an EB from half a dozen Bronco parts houses across the US.
All electical is still avail at any parts store and most drivetrain stuff is still available at all parts houses.
Help me out here as I'm not seeing the...
Yeah my son had one. '96 or '97. Had to replace it last year after he put 286,000 miles on it as a juvenile delinquent being chased by 3 city cop cars who had 8 previous auto thefts to his name couldn't take the corner at 1am & totalled both his cars in front of his house! Had this trans and it...
I've cruised thru places just N & W of S. CAL with white stuff on the ground :) .
I also mentioned "in my snowy, icy..." so people reading might distinguish between the terrains.
Many of us do take their Broncos for wheeling trips more than 100 miles from home and might experience different...
I had a set of 32x11.50' x 15" tires BFG'S on hold for $5 :) when Super Shops went under... 5 bucks man- I was devastated when I drove by my local store 40 miles away and couldn't get my 5 bucks back!
Times were tough for us all back then LOL... 5 BUCKS! :)
Well, everyone on this site since the '90's knows how I feel about Detroits in my snowy, icy, hilly part of the country. lol
Never own another one for the wheeling we like to do.
This is what I don't understand... how MANY Broncos get rear ended on a trail? How many get "T" boned in an intersection on a trail? How many get stolen on a trail? How many get in accidents with other cars like being sideswiped on a trail??? How many guys have a rear axle break on the highway...
They were around as a HUGE supplier of everything aftermarket 30 yrs back. I bought a fair amount of stuff from them back then.
Here's another on the inside of my console... I should have this in the middle of my hood! lol
Dash knobs are probably the only stock thing left on my Bronco...
