    Adjusting 3 on Tree

New 3sp shift rod install issues (follow up tread) Was in the process of installing new shift rods and have run into an issue. Picture 1.1 & 1.2 are the original set up from when I got the truck (the rods cross over and bind together). 2.1 & 2.2 believe are the correct way to install but one...

    Need 3 Speed Shifting Rods

Being stuck in the house – decided to take a good look around the truck. Unfortunately, seems my 3spd shifting rods have been rubbing against each other for years – causing two wear marks. Does anyone have a set or know if/where I may be able to replace them?

Need manual rebuild kit (including input shaft)

The input shaft on my ’66 manual steering box is need of replacement. Freed the truck from my garage yesterday after sitting in the garage all winter. But while backing out realized the steering wheel just spun. Looks like the drive shaft clamp is tight but just spins around the input...

Looking for a suggestion – made the hole to big!!

Just cut the hole in the rear fender to mount the gas filler neck receiver. Once installed, realized the hole is a little too big. Has anyone made a decorative ring to sit between the exterior sheet metal and filler neck receiver?

    broncoparts4u.com

Stay Away I'd spent quite a few $,$$$ with Dan (was the biggest hassle / mistake I’ve ever made). When the order originally arrived the items were so damaged the shipping company wouldn’t even drop it off. When I contacted Dan – he said it wasn’t his fault and told me to contact the delivery...

anybody know how to ship a tub?

First off I would highly suggest contacting your personal insurance company to see if you could insure the delivery. I had a very bad experience with a tub coming out of Nebraska – it arrived folded in half. Six month of gong a back and forth with the vendor claiming he wasn’t responsible we...

Engine swap questions – today or tomorrow?

Have a ’66 that I’m finishing a frame off. Not going original restore but keeping the nostalgic look (Springtime Yellow, 3 on tree, OEM seats – but installed lift, family cage and power brakes). Currently driving a 170cc V6 – what are the pro’s and con’s of upgrading to a 289 or 302 V8? 1)...

Can I remove the balk head?

Is it necessary to re-install the balk head (section of metal behind the driver’s seat)? I removed mine wanting to give more seating room – however I’m concerned that there will be alignment / rigidity issues in the tub. My questions: 1) Do I need to reinstall the balk head? 2) Tie the sides...

Spotted Blue Bronco at Outer Banks N.C.

I'm a hater!! Before the little ones came - I would leave about 7pm stop in Williamsburg then drive straight through to Goombays (best steamer and cold beer). How I settle with leaving at 4am and breakfast at the Pier. Damb things change when you’re old!! * BTW - best time I clocked was...
