    3D printed Heater box replacement

That’s a great idea. There are a few of us that have 3d printers and would probably buy your files to print our own.

New Exhaust Note Much Quieter Thrush Turbo

I like thrush mufflers. Not terribly expensive, flow ok and are not obnoxious. I’m running a 3” in and out on my 78 bronco. Quiet but still deep enough to know there is a built engines in front of it. Put the same one on an eb with hot 347 and you could still have conversation while driving...

Wheel spacers installed — 400 miles and one muddy trip later

I love you guys. Y’all always make me learn stuff in spite of being math deficient. Keep it coming cause I usually just make stuff break it and make it stronger the next time. I quit doing math when I started hiring structural engineers to check my building designs.

Check out this strange cam bearing wear

The engine in my 78 bronco ate the no 2 cam bearing and it did no damage to anything else. By ate I mean the entire bearing was in pieces in the pan. I don’t see how the cam didn’t break with no support in that journal. The engine had over 200000 miles on it.

Good catch. I missed that. Yes you definitely need the extension housing

    ZF5-47 2wd out of 96 F150.

Mad, that should bolt up to a Cleveland or M motor. You’ll need a Tim Meyer flywheel spacer, you’ll need to have the flywheel redrilled to use a 460 clutch and pressure plate, that trans will bolt up to a np205 tcase with a slight mod to the back of the trans housing. Not sure about what you...

    Steering

By floating down the road do you mean the steering feels light and quick? You can add a steering stabilizer to help damper the steering speed. In my experience a lot I’ve early power steering trucks seem to have a bit too much gain in the pump so it feels really light. This is very handy off...
