I've been thinkin' about paint and I think it's time for a change. It was new in light blue and now it's black. I should put back to original, but I think red with a white grill and top is my preference. Probably white steel stock rims too.

Here's a few. In these pics, it looks a little orange, but it's actually a really deep fire engine red.

Cherry red metallic or cinnamon? Not sure.

Sweet looking color for a Bronco there LTL.
What year is your EB, and is that a stock color? Not sure I've ever seen one quite that dark.
Looking at the pic yourself, is that an accurate rendition on the computer, or is it a bit lighter in real life?
Either way, I'm liking it a lot.

Slow Poke's is very Red indeed. Looks pretty much just like the pics.

Hard to see in this old faded pic, but my friend's '72 Explorer was a dark Red as well. If memory serves, it was kind of in-between yours and Slow Pokes in shade.

Thank you paul..Its a 72 I believe the original owner painted it because the PO
bought it that way. It must be a custom color. I took it to a major paint supplier that mixes for most of the body shops here. They used the tool fromPPG to get a match but couldnt find an exact mix. They mixed something close to a Chrysler color but its darker. The Hood has most of the clear peeling and flaking and an attempt has been done to wet and it. I'm going to end up Matte blacking the hood. Outside it looks Metallic cherry, in the garage it almost looks like a light Root beer.
