Anyone ever see a black 1977 with square headlights? A guy I do business with had this as a show truck in Illinois. He sold it to a guy down south, perhaps Texas? He had Monte Carlo headlights installed in the 70's. He said it was cool at the time.%) The whole drivetrain was chromed, and I think he said it had about a 3.0" lift. Just wondered if someone on here has it.

There was one for sale in ga for a while that sounds like the one you are talking about. Look in the for sale section in ga and see if that's the one!

My 77 had square headlights and was a show truck in the late 80's-90's. It was Black and silver/blue flames at the front. With a chromed horizontal bars welded into the outer grill shell, And a Vista cruiser top graghted into the factory hardtop. You can see what was left of it in my Garage pics but im sure mine was built like that here in Missouri. I have some pics before it was stripped down, just not on my PC.

Had one come into the shop in the late eighties too. Even though it was way out of the ordinary even back then, I thought it didn't look half bad either. Probably mostly because I'd always thought having four lights was the better way, as back then you didn't always get what you expected with the two-light systems. Sometimes the low-beam was fine, but high sucked. Sometimes it was the other way around.
With four, I thought you'd have more choice in not only beam pattern and wattage, but separate aiming as well. That way I figured you weren't relying on someone else to make exactly what you wanted.

Glad I didn't try anything like that though, before I found a happy medium with round lights.

Always liked the look of a buddy's '72 with dual rounds. Thought it looked very purposeful and racy.
