NP 435 input shaft wiggle

Guys, how much play in the input shaft (spud shaft) is acceptable?

I'm referring to the spline shaft on the front of the transmission.

I've got about 1\8" play going up and down. Side to side is OK.

Please let me know.

I'm pretty sure that's normal, but I hope somebody else chimes in to confirm for you. Just trying to ease any concerns. I know it's common with other tran's. The pilot bushing or bearing will take care of the movement.
