James Duff lower coil retainers don't look right

They just wouldn't fit with the James Duff track bar riser installed. I had to go with stock.

thats interesting since they typically advertise that their components fit across ALL their systems. I have the WH spring cups and had no fitment issues with the JD TB riser.

glad you got it all sorted!

Actually I miss stated, it is the WH bump stop that was in the way. I just had to take a look to get my head straight.
I'm pleased with my factory lower spring retainers at the moment but I am not planning on returning the James Duff parts, for future consideration.

The lower retainers were the usual p i t a, but why don't we thread studs into the track bar and C-cap to make attachment and removal of the spring retainers so much easier?

-JB
BC Broncos used to (and may still) sell stud kits for that application. I got two of them at various times and I couldn't get them threaded into my radius arms - might have been fine thread vs. coarse thread - I don't remember. In any case, I returned them and just run the stock setup.

We would be very interested in seeing pictures of why you think they wouldn't work with the riser. They were specifically designed to work together.

I apologize and also stated previously that that was my mistake, it is the passenger side bump stop that interferes. I am going to get frame-mounted bump stops and re-consider the lower retainers.

Well, considering we've sold thousands of these since we came out with them in 2009 due to coils popping out on the trail and stock plates bending. I'm pretty confident that you'll be happy. FYI for anyone wondering, WH didn't come out with them until 2012. I'll let you do the math on that one when referring the design style.
