Custom Soft Top Material

I've fabricated a custom interior bar and now I am ready to do a safari style top. I am mirroring the look that the Velocity guys do. I've looked everywhere for soft top material but cant find exactly what I'm looking for.

Has anyone been down this road? Ideally I'm looking for a canvas material with an Alcantara liner.

I think you'd probably have to search out a high end custom upholstery shop to find someone that makes what you're describing. Alcantara is not an inexpensive option.

My safari tops are made of the Sunbrella material that @bigmuddy mentions. I like it because it's pretty durable and lasts a long time even here in the scorching AZ sun.

It is - but it's the only thing that lasts in harsh climates. Our pool umbrellas and some of our outdoor furniture is done in it. Still going strong after 10 years on the surface of Hades here.

One of my old soft tops were made with it as well. Had for probably 15 years and when I sold it, it still looked new.
Made by the one whom we can't speak his name

I got an outrageous quote from an upholstery shop to use Sunbrella on a build.
Nearly half of that quote was getting material to me in Honolulu.

Not too surprised.
I was putting an order in for vinyl coated fabric yesterday. Material: $99 Shipping: $152 from Bakersfield CA to Salem OR. I declined and went with another vendor.

Did you consider herculite?
Anything Boat/aviation is gonna be crazy expensive.
Heck I was at home depot a few years back and an ABS pipe fitting was almost triple the price, it has gotten ridiculous
