Wow, bigguns, aren’t they?
Pretty cool actually. I assume you were looking for something to lower the glare, but since they’re so big, you wanted to still see through them?
Or maybe too, they can double as sun shades when parked.

Yes they're huge, but nice and transparent at the moment. We'll see how the plexiglass holds up over time.
I considered the size, however since it's plexiglass, a little work on the jigsaw and they could be any size that I wanted them to be!

At $30 ea., I can just get replacements! Plus, wife (latina) plans on putting a vanity mirror on the back of the passengers visor so she can make sure her makeup is good while we are wheelin'.

Those are a great find and excellent price. Translucent sunvisors are a game changer in a Bronco given how short the windshield is. I went with the ones from WH (Axia Alloys design). They are a bit more expensive but well constructed. I was so pleased with them that I went to Axia Alloys site and got a pair of roll bar grab handles too. One of the two best upgrades that we have made to this Bronco. I now use the sunvisors on a regular basis, whereas I never used visors before because they are opaque and cover most of what you need to see.

Nice find. I made these about 15 years ago when the only thing on the market were aircraft style visors and too expensive.

I looked at the wild horses ones but couldn't use them because the way my cage is there are bars up the center to the front. There's not enough room to use the wild horses mounting.

I have a set from Terraflex (I think) and hate them! For some reason I get a huge amount of glare and almost like looking into a mirror with the reflection. I plan on cutting them down smaller and wrapping them with leather to match my seats and use as a more traditional visor.

Thanks for the tip Johnnyb. I had no idea they could be had at a reasonable cost. I went to Amazon and bought a smaller sized one since I'm tall and don't need it to hang down very far and besides by moving the roll bar bracket up or down you can change how far down it comes very quickly!

The Axia stuff is great to use too. They're located just a few miles from my work and I've stopped in there a few times to buy stuff although they seem to discourage that now and want you to buy it from a distributor. They're big in the SxS market - as I understand it, several of the owners of the local machine shop were off roaders and decided to branch out into this type of brackets, etc. in addition to their regular machine shop work and voila - Axia was born!
