I just got my DMV registration renewal and was shocked at the amount $ 439.
My 2005 F-350 is much less. And you get no help or answers from the DMV. Like the title said “another good reason to leave California”

For your 50 year old Bronco? My 1969 U15 is about $146 here in Alameda County.

Do you have some VLF sitting on the registration? That is the equivalent of property tax, based on your stated purchase price on change of title. If so...you get to pay that every year for the next 10.

Don't leave. I need at least a few sane people around, or I'll go nuts...

The weather is awesome, you can surf in the morning, ski in the afternoon, and star gaze from desert at night.

In other news, My 04 6.0 costs about 450 and my 72 VW costs 122...

Judging by your sig, maybe I'll see you around town when I'm back home to visit from time to time....
