I wanted to put this out there for anyone working on an Early Bronco, whether you’re starting with a new reproduction body or restoring an older original body.

I’m taking on Bronco bodywork, restoration and paint projects here in Southern California. I have hands-on experience working with new reproduction bodies as well as the type of repair and finishing work involved with older sheet metal.

For new reproduction bodies, there can still be quite a bit of fitting, correcting, blocking and finishing needed before they’re truly ready for paint. For original bodies, I can also handle repair and restoration work depending on the condition of the truck.

I can handle:

• Door, hood and tailgate fitment
• Panel gap adjustment
• Panel alignment and correction
• Rust and damaged metal repair
• Panel replacement
• Metal finishing / bodywork
• Seam and surface preparation
• Blocking and getting the body straight
• Primer and paint preparation
• Complete paint / refinishing
• Final body finishing before assembly

Whether you’re ordering a brand-new Bronco body or trying to bring an original Bronco body back to life, I can take care of the bodywork and paint side of the build.

I’m located in the Temecula / Murrieta area of Southern California.

If you already have a project, have a new body on order, or are still deciding which route to take, feel free to PM me with some photos and details. I’m happy to talk through the project and what the body will need.

I’ll also be posting some photos of the work as I get things together.

I've seen a few new steel bodies out there ranging anywhere from $10,000 (Facebook marketplace) to $20,000. Any guidance on what to look for when buying a new body? Do you see much difference in quality/fit between manufacturers? I have a 66' with cut rocker panels, some rust, etc. and I'm pretty sure I'll spend as much trying to repair what I have as I would spend buying a new body.

Hello Soren! Sorry for the late response. Can you send me a DM and I’ll answer your questions? I’m new to here and I have some trouble to sending out DMs haha.
