I think when I swapped the 66 to a 351w I mounted the bell crank so the rod lined up with the carb. I think the cable was ok in stock location on firewall. I moved the return spring to the front side. Also I swapped to a dual return spring. Had one snap once and it wasn't fun.

If you don't have a bunch of money in it swap it out for a non holley. If you want a 2v get a rebuilt 2100.

How much with the other parts I responded to? I'm working on a c-4 swap and also want to put in a j- shift while I'm at it.

For the gm calipers you can try redrilling the hole in the pivot bar out wider for more range. Check out a few of the u-tube videos on getting the calipers adjusted correctly. There is also an electric kit with a hydraulic piston to activate the e-brake instead of the pedal..

If the knuckles still have the stock taper(not drilled straight thru) the hole will be too big for the stock early bronco tie-rods. Most of the vendors sell a tapered bushing that will remedy the problem.

Don't know if they still do but jeff's and some of the others offered superlift or some version of the 5 packs for a bargain spring and also had the better 9-11 packs for more $$.

The 9-11 packs ride much better than the 5 pack springs.

Is it the dual sumo from the vendors? Does it come with oil pick up & dip stick?

Most go with a 4 turn box. I prefer the 4x4x2 boxes for their strength. West texas off road rebuilds plenty of em. The may have me on the shelf ready to go.

I've had good luck with the local napa parts. You may be able to get something higher end from a radiator shop
