Just got my '72 Sport from the paint shop and trying to replace the fiberglass flares...I can't seem to find any rivets long enough to grip all the metal/fiberglass for a good bond. The holes left from drilling them out will probably require the head be at least 3/16"-1/4". Any ideas out there...

Hey guys I'm also about to install carpet...any recommendations on proper way to attach to floor (tape, glue or nothing at all)? Also, what heat/sound shield is good? I've been thinking of keeping the factory rubber mat underneath and adding some padding on top of that. Thanks.

If you put "Cluster 101" in search bar it should bring up the tech article I mentioned....I used the advice Dirt Donk gave and found out my IVR is working correctly. As soon as I get my '72 Sport out of the paintshop I will start ruling out power/ground problems...Thanks again guys for the advice.

Thanks for the reply Dirtdonk...I am testing the cluster outside of the vehicle. The (+) post of the battery is connected via wire to the "IGN" side of the VR and the circuit tester connecting to the (-) side of battery to the instrument casing for ground. Sound right?
