    speedo cable clicking - lube gear?

    My speedo cable was/is clicking and thumping at the transfer case, I think. Thought it was a bad cable, replaced it, still doing it. I ordered a new 16 tooth gear from Jeff's to correct the speedo reading. I guess my question is; Does the gear need lube? Is there a certain way it's installed...

    slack in drive train?

    Brake pedal height adjustment?

    Hey All, Anyone know if you can adjust the height (move it down towards the floorboard) of the brake pedal? My pedal is about 12” off the floor in relation to the gas pedal (about 2-3”). I have a ‘73 with front discs and a brake booster. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

    Gage Cluster ?

    Tcoffey988, Sounds like a bad ground. There's been other threads about gauge problems, search the forum. Try running a ground from the rear of the cluster to the body. Also check existing grounds, make sure you have good metal to metal contact. Also check your gas tank sending unit ground...
