    Finally finished the engine bay with base coat clear coat. On to the next phase mating the body with the chassis.

    Engine bay painted and clear coated. Next mate the body back to the frame!

    Final sanding and prep for the engine compartment. Should be able to shoot color in the morning (weather permitting). Hope by the end of the day it will all have metallic blue paint and be uniform. Looks like it isn't happening today. Bad weather in our area.

    Shot the cowl area today in its Midnight Blue Poly Code S to get a feel for my new gun and to not have much over spray in the engine compartment. Let it dry for a few days and shoot the rest. Was real happy about the color and the way it sprayed. Super shiny maybe to shiny!!!

    Was able to spray the Black high build primer in the engine compartment. Pictures show light spots for some reason. I panicked and ran into the garage to see if I really had missed some areas. Just the lights....I'll wait a couple days for the primer to harden and then hit it with some 400/600...

    Epoxy primed the cowl area. Now all color is uniform in the engine bay. Next up seam seal the cowl area and black 2k primer.

    Back on the Bronco after weeks of problems dealing with insurance company from the last hurricane. It's a joke going through the stuff they put you through....enough of that, Started taping and seam sealing the engine compartment, then primer sealer then paint if everything goes as planned.
