    Another question on Hardtop hoist

    I installed a Harken Hoister Garage Storage 4-Point Lift System and a couple 2x4s because it is cheap (~$145) and easy to install. I use ratchet straps in the storage position just to take the load off the pulleys for long term storage. I am pleased with the setup and have had no problems.

    Just had a 73' Bronco C4 rebuilt and it shifts fine under a load. Sometimes I don't get a firm shift from 2nd to 3rd when I am not putting a load on the engine. Motor revs briefly then shifts. Fluid level is correct and this occurs when the trans is cold and warm. Could it be a vacuum...
