Is there an alternative gas pedal assembly?

Wow! Thank you for this. It seems that I'll be moving it up just like that. Do you feel that your actual pedal is too high off of the floor now? This would have been so much easier when the engine was out! Might need to post a recommend for 351W install ideas. Game changer! Also, that everyone...

Is there an alternative gas pedal assembly?

Yes, I used the wedge but I really just need it to exit higher.

Is there an alternative gas pedal assembly?

yes, this is what I'm looking for in wanting to see the top of the cowl. I think what I'm seeing in hunter1's picture (thank you for the great reference picture!) is the cable is now at the height of the original hole where the big wire bundle came through and he also moved that up (wish I had...

Is there an alternative gas pedal assembly?

did you move the pedal assembly up for that? I'm thinking I'll have to elongate the lower side of the pedal assembly and move it up. I like the loop! that looks smooth. Can I talk you into a picture that shows how close to the top you went and then how your pedal looks?

Is there an alternative gas pedal assembly?

I'm looking for an alternative to the stock gas pedal assembly. I have a 351W with stock size body pucks. My cable has to do quite a bend to clear my valve covers and I think it's causing a lot of resistance in the cable. I have the Lokar cable installed on Sniper EFI. I don't think my return is...

Did you find a smoking gun, I'm in the same boat right now. My pedal just seems spongy.

WH 4 core vs TBP 4 core

There is a serious price difference in these 2 radiators. Can the Ron Davis really be worth double? I would be happy to pay it if it is. https://www.wildhorses4x4.com/product/Ron_Davis_Aluminum_With_Trans_Cooler/Bronco_Aluminum_Radiators...

Are motor mounts specific to side?

Update: I was able to pry from the adapter end and get the crossmember mounted and bolted. Its centered now and I suspect that when I take these motor mounts out years from now they will be as Dirtdonk described and one will seem different. Thanks for the responses

Are motor mounts specific to side?

Its not rolling, its pointing towards the rear driver wheel by 2-3 deg. I have the mounts loose and I can move it but it seems like it will be pulling on the mounts. The mounts came together and didn't seem different. Just making sure before I start locking everything down. It would be hard to...

Are motor mounts specific to side?

I am installing a new rebuilt 351W and AOD Trans. Right now as it sits the motor rear of the motor leans to the driver side. I will have to move about an inch at the trans output to line up the crossmember correctly. It even looks off. Could I have put the motor mounts on the wrong side? I...

My C4 to AOD purchasing experience in my 75 EB: Learn from my mistake

I am just wrapping up my engine work (another story) and should know this answer in the next week. I'll post back here and add some links to parts and helpfull youtubes that I used.

My C4 to AOD purchasing experience in my 75 EB: Learn from my mistake

I decided the AOD was the easiest way to go without making too many modifications. This may be true or not but you will make modifications no matter what you do. This whole process became less scary the further I went. A car lift would have been great, but I did it on the ground. Acquiring a...

Switching to AOD from C4, what am I missing?

I'm changing out motor (351W for a crate 351W) and C4 for AOD. I'm prepared/expect for mating, crossmember work and new driveline lengths. I watched a YouTube video this morning that mentioned a problem with having new AOD be taller than the old. This forced them to install a body lift so the...

    C4 automatic shift linkage

The in the cab side of the column is not my concern. Its the under the hood side I am trying to get a visual of while in Park. On this aftermarket column (WH direct fit), the lever, arm or linkage connector (the one under the hood) can be clocked in 16 different ways. It is not in a set position...

Need pic of Auto column shift lever

I'm hoping someone with either a stock column or even better, ididit auto column from WH can snap a pic of the shift lever under the hood while in park. I have my column in but need to know where to start the shift from. I have removed the floor shifter so I did not have a reference to begin...
