    C4 question. late to engage reverse but all forward gears are fine.

    Having an issue with a C4. Reverse gear takes a while to engage, feels like low on ATF but all forward gears respond like normal. Need to get RPM up and then it engages but it hammers it. Had to replace U-joints on driveshaft 2 week ago. Fluid level is good.

    Anyone installed an oil accumulator on your 351W? Where did you attach your line to the oiling system? On my Cleveland engines there is an oil galley port on the back of block behind the intake. The windsor engines don't have it.

    14 bolt or a 10.25. 14 bolts has caddy discs with parking brake. not sure about the internals yet. it was sitting under a house for awhile. 10.25 also have a disc brake kit not installed. both will need a good through to set them up. i have options

    Not all SBF distributor shafts are all the same size....

    So much for getting it running today.. Wrong gear shaft size.. set back 4 days til right gear arrives.. Stock 351W .531 distributor shaft... I'm not stock with a .500 distributor shaft... I could get by with steel gear for a week? Patience, Grasshopper...

    7/16"-20 cam core thread size.

    Found this out during assembly.. ran a google search and found out that this is common. 7/16"-20 where stock is 3/8"
