    The hot water worked, low came on a few seconds after I put it in and then high a few seconds after that, just like it should. I like the idea of actually having it exposed to the coolant, but how to do that...

    The 435 will always fall out of first...eventually;D It usually takes about a 1/4 mile or so when they are fresh, and then less, and less... I push in the clutch and push it back up every once in a while, although this can be frustrating if it is falling out alot!! The clearance to the dash...

    Both Extended and Wristed?

    Same here, I've been running a wristed stock radius arm for just about a year now. It was cheap, easy, and gave me a lot more flex. I would love the wristed housing, but I'd probably do a four link with coilovers first.

    I have an 87' sd, it provides plenty of power for me, I like the reliability and not coughing at angles for sure ;D I have a 5.5 lift and had no clearance issues with the oil pan. Good luck with your swap.
