the power is switched because the igniter hooks into my coil, and the coil only had power when i turn the key on, the thing that gets me is back when i was running points and condensor the neg. on the coil only had power when the truck was running, now it always has power when i turn the key...

after turning the key off it kept running, full on running, all i did to shut it off was stop applying gas and it died becuz my truck was cold and the choke wasnt warm so it didnt idle it died, and the system i installed was an igniter II

so i installed electronic ignition and a new coil for my bronco and for some reason it fixed my problem with my truck dieing when applying gas, so i was excited as i ran the ol pony up until i turned my key off and it wouldnt stop running!!!!!! is it my solenoid? electronic ignition? please help...

hey guys i finally got my ol pony to start up and it is idoling pretty good, the only bad part is when i give it gas she dies, i think this could be a shot vacuum advance? any suggestions?

i recently installed the painless wiring system in my bronco and i faced my prongs to the ground. this made it easier to change around wires (if need be) and the knob turns to the right starting pretty much 90 degrees to the left facing the steering column. hopefully this helps good luck!

hey guys, recently my bronco would not start and i thought it was my points, so i replaced my points, condensor, and cap (i adjusted my points with a feeler gauge, not a dwell meter dont have one) and transfered the order of the wires on the old cap to the new one and i dont think they were in...
