    1975 Bronco

Yeah, it's just one of those deals... I'm really on the fence with it all and I figured if someone wants to buy me out of it... then I'll just let fate deal with it. I like the truck... don't get me wrong. Heck.. my wife isn't even happy with the idea. But I figured with our other hobbies...

    1975 Bronco

The list on this truck is extremely long... I'll do my best to hit the main points. Very clean truck, color is white. 302 EFI out of a 91' Mustang... very strong. 24 gallon fuel tank. C4 Tranny completely overhauled professionally this past spring. Both axles rebuilt with Yukon parts, Detroit...

    Bad Optima Battery?

I went to Sears. They were cool. Because they were fading out the Optimas they gave me a new Platinum Series battery with 880 cold cranking amps!! Now I'll monitor this battery and track the voltage to see how it does. Funny if I really did have a drain that I just overlooked. But really...

    Bad Optima Battery?

It's only a year old... that's what has me puzzled. It seemed fine when I drove it frequently. But after it sat for almost two weeks it would not start. My initial feeling is that I have a drain. So I searched this site and tried all the advice. I can't find anything major. At one time I...

    Stripped Threads-Best Fix?

My .02 We only use heli-coils here at work when the design calls for repeated removal of the bolt (or whatever your threading into the tap). If the thread is only being utilized as a one time install... then the heli-coil isn't needed. It when you frequently need to remove something that the...

    Front Drum Brakes Questions

SOB... hey guys... I just out new shoes on the front and my rig pulls really hard to the right. I found this thread and was hoping that it was because I had primary and secondary pads mixed up. Well by the looks of it... all the pads are exactly the same. Now what?

    C4 band adjustment..

Man... this is really starting to drag me down. My tranny guy came down today and we swapped in a different valve body. Pretty much the same issue. It shifts well into 2nd gear but just refuses to find 3rd. And then it just feel like a flare, as if it were in neutral until the speed and rpms...

    Missing part..

Hey people, When taking the linkage apart back in January I misplaced the clip (e-ring?, snap ring?) that holds the hardware to the tranny lever. I don't even recall what the thing looks like. Can anyone direct me to where I can find one or what it looks like so that I may just dig up a...

    C4 band adjustment..

I found on another sight that when installing a shift kit... the band specs are different than the factory suggested numbers. Anybody know if this is true or not? Ford says 10 FOOT/pounds.... and if you were installing a shift kit such as the TransGo unit...you'd be setting the band spec to 10...

    Stubborn front drum...

Huh... no kidding. So what happens on the rear drums? Do those just slide off the studs?

    C4 shifting problem.... Help!!

Yup... tried that when I got home. Watched it go up on the stick as I added a half quart at a time. I even put the dipstick on the outside just to be curious as to how far the stick went down the tube. I'd guess it goes to just about the bend in the tube where it goes into the pan. I...

    Stubborn front drum...

Wow... I'm on a fricken roll. First my newly built tranny don't run for chit and now I find out something is hosed on my front brakes. When I pulled the wheels off back in December I was able to pull off the brake drum right off the studs/hub on three of the four corners. Just the one...
