I wonder how many of you guys breaking these axles are running those spacers? Not sure if that would put any undue force on the axles but I'm curious what you guys have to say.

can you normally tell by operation of the vehicle...runs rough, etc... or can it kaboom without notice?

had to use a puller tool so it wasn't so easy that it just slid off on its own or anything...there is some cracking starting on the rubber. What happens when these things go out??

put on a new timing cover...putting back on the harmonic balancer. It came off real easy and it goes back on very easy with a little play. My buddy and I are debating how tight it should be on the crank and whether or not I need a new one... Any advice? Thanks.

Looks like the one posted above, but it is all corroded looking, cracked up and in BAD shape. After several internet searches and talking to a buddy over the phone who wires cars, I decided to remove the inline resistor....everything and everyone said no resistor necessary with the HEI...

OK...I've got some kind of small box (1" x 4" approx) mounted to my firewall...it has 2 terminals...one side has wire going to ignition button...other side has 2 wires - one going to HEI distributor and the other going to the solenoid. This thing looks like some kind of resistor or something...

Have any of you guys had problems with the Yukons in the 9" set-up or are they all in the 44's. I'd find it hard to believe the metal on Yukon's 9" axles is any different...or do you think it is the design of the 44's? I'm running 31 spline in the rear with 35's and headed to Rubicon in 3...

What are you running in the rear out of curiosity (ARB, spool, etc). I only have them on the rear, running 35's and spooled up...no problems after only a year but I'm hoping they stay that way. What spline yuk's are you running.
