VA 1973 For Sale- Price Reduced!!!

1973 for sale. Body is rough, frame is in good condition. Does not run, needs new brake lines. I attempted to revive it after it sat too long. I Don't think it would be too tough to get it running again.I installed a battery, new plugs/wires, and a new gas tank. It cranks, seems to lack spark...

Stock 70 Bronco - Driving on the Beach

I've owned 4 Early Broncos over the years and they've all been on the soft, and sometimes deep, Outer Banks sand from Carova to Ocracoke. It's GREAT on the beach, certainly as good as any JK. In fact, you can drive most anything, even basic all wheel drive, on the sand with enough clearance AND...

    Removing 2.5 inch lift kit

I've considered that. Removing the lift would require dealing with some steering linkage issues, no?

For what it's worth, Hagerty thinks values are dropping

I bought my first, a 1970, 3 on-the-tree, with an angry 170 cubes under the hood in 1987. $1200 or so. 32 inch no name tires, one door a different color than the other, and a love affair began. Those teenage years of top off, wind in the hair, sand-wheeling, girl-chasing were exquisite. I've had...

    Removing 2.5 inch lift kit

@Johnnyb Yes. It's uncut, I'd like to get it back to stock height, I like the original look. I've got the original rims and hubcaps on it, so 2.5" high makes 235/75/15 look small. The only off-roading she'll see is OBX sand...

    Removing 2.5 inch lift kit

I went down there today. I measured the radius arms on my standard height '73, about 34" from axle to frame mounts, same on the '76. I'm confused as to what I should tell them. They work on mostly modern stuff, of course anything is modern compared to a 1976, but they say the radius arms are too...

    Removing 2.5 inch lift kit

Thanks for all the feedback! All I can figure is they're trying to sell me something. Will clarify with them to just do the springs and shocks and give it back. It's only a 2.5...

    Removing 2.5 inch lift kit

I've got a '76 in the shop to remove the lift kit. It'a a Tom's kit, looked to me like everything should come off easily, replaced by new coil springs up front, new leaf springs out back, new shocks, new c-bushings for radius arms. They're asking about the radius arms before they'll do the work...

Need opinion on which LED headlight upgrade is the best?

How long have you had them? How's the longevity? Still happy with them? They sort of look like knockoff Grote headlights.

How are they holding up? They look pretty good, but kinda cheap, no offense to the maker...
