    Knifty 2 Build Thread

Get a PDR tech on the tail light panel. Older sheet metal is a pain to work with but doable. Any competent tech should be able to get that pushed out.

How far would you go to track down the owner?

I've been patiently waiting for a response to the letter I sent. Unfortunately not even a get lost response. I'll keep looking.

Have Bronco prices gone crazy everywhere or just here? (CO)

Not just there. Everywhere has seen an increase.

How far would you go to track down the owner?

Here is the only pic I could get. 6' chain link with barbed wire doesn't help. I'm going to type up a letter and mail it to the owner of the property tomorrow. Maybe I can catch the owner in a moment of weakness and ready to sell.

How far would you go to track down the owner?

I'm in Colorado City, TX on a high hunting weekend. I've been hoping to find another sitting near the road.

    What winch to look for

8274 mounts feet foward. I doubt the protofab bumper is designed for that.

How far would you go to track down the owner?

I knocked on a couple of doors today. The guy I talked to knows the owner. He has tried to buy the Bronco and classic Ford that are just sitting. No dice. Won't sell. Won't even entertain it. The mobile app won't let upload pics I'll post a pic when I get the computer out. This one is on...

How far would you go to track down the owner?

Yes it is. Only thing left of him here is his name on the water tower and a few street signs.

How far would you go to track down the owner?

Not unless you moved to west texas? I live in yukon.

How far would you go to track down the owner?

To what extremes would you go to track down the owner of an early bronco? In this particular case an uncut yellow and white Bronco. I've seen it in the same spot for over 4 years now on my way to and from my hog hunts in TX. I'm making the wife nervous on the searching I'm doing. 8 different...

    Kinda Depressed

I guess I knock off the dust with an I can relate post. 9ish years ago I drug home a CJ7 that needed to see the crusher in a bad way. More rot and poor fiberglass patching than usable metal for a body. The thought was as many others have said. get it drive-able. about a grand or so later it was...

Found a deal to good to be true ended in a potential Scam

One thing I noticed last night after going over the emails was the writing. One email was horrible grammer. The next email had good sentence structure and proper word usage. It is definately a group of people working the scam.

Found a deal to good to be true ended in a potential Scam

I already wasted enough time on this deal I dont' feel like wasting any more. Had I already not sent the email asking for a PO # I would have said I have a coworker that flew into the area and will drive the Bronco back. Oh well. I hope this person scams the wrong person and they track them...

Found a deal to good to be true ended in a potential Scam

http://s258.photobucket.com/albums/hh272/dblystone/Scam%20Bronco/ these are the pictures that were online. It looks like they pulled all the pictures. I never did get a response from the email I sent asking what PO Box they wanted me to send the Money Order to. I guess they didn't want to deal...

Found a deal to good to be true ended in a potential Scam

So I see this listing on Craigslist for a 1977 Bronco for $4000.00 Shipped. (link below) I email the seller to try and meet up and look at the Bronco. Come to find out the Bronco is in Frankfort, IL and the seller is in Detroit, MI. The grammer on the add is perfect. The grammer in the email is...

    What would you do? 73 302, 3spd

There are plenty of Bronco's in my area. All that are for sale are about 3-4 grand more than I can spend right now. Although there is a cut 74 that is rust free near my Mother in Law's house. Both my dad and I have been eyeballing that for a while. I guess its time to man up and go ask the...

    What would you do? 73 302, 3spd

A vehicle is only worth what two people agree it's worth. I called the owner yesterday afternoon and still haven't gotten a call back to even give him the offer. I guess my original message of, "this thing needs more to get it road legal than I originally thought," scared him. Oh well. I'm...
