It is if the wire with the blue line is coming from one side of his in-line fuse. Its bolted to the same stud as the positive battery cable (green line). They're basically touching each other bolted to that stud. We need a wider pic that shows everything.

Yes. 1 1/8" inch bore is perfect. It will start to feel "right" after a few hundred miles. As for your steering, are you using a steering damper?

Seems you have a group 24F battery? A group 24 will have the poles reversed.

Those screws on the front are idle mixture screws. They only adjust idle mixture.
