What have you done to your Bronco today?

Nice caster numbers! I bet it does drive nice

    4r70 to flexplate gap

Stock parts 3/16-1/4” is the magic number. More than that needs a washer added between the converter and flex plate, a major PITA on a Ford.

4R70W + Atlas II questions: overall length, shifter, crossmember and more

That's good, I've found Atlas's shift better new than they used to. This unit shifted easy into low and neutral. I think it was more of the trans shifter was in the way making leverage weird, added 3", which does add to the ratio, but it now shifts great. Using the universal shifter, same as I...

4R70W + Atlas II questions: overall length, shifter, crossmember and more

Lars, do you find the atlas hard to pull into high range? My J Truck was terrible, lengthened the shifters to the same height as the trans shifter and it is now easy peasy.

4R70W + Atlas II questions: overall length, shifter, crossmember and more

Looks great Lars. My theory is interference is bad, close enough to kiss but doesn’t is perfection.

    Frame reinforcement plate spacers

If the spacers are long enough push them all the way through and weld them in.

James Duff lower coil retainers don't look right

It is not an issue. I run them as well. I purchased them due to not having anything OEM and was less expensive than making my own and paying myself to do it (part of my calculation on to buy or make, time vs dollars). I like them and will use them again. just follow the instructions and install...

    Limited slip differential installation.

Most Broncos are 1310 however Ford or parts swapping in the past was notorious for slipping in a 1330. Warning: Nerdy technical overload data dump ensuing 😂 There is basically no ultimate torque strength between 1310 and 1330, they use the same cup as bearing. However due to the cross being...

    Limited slip differential installation.

In reality these are very hard to beat. I can’t buy the parts, let alone assemble for this price. It is 100% bolt in ready. I guessed at your gear ratio, they have 28 spline available as well, I find the 31 spline axles a worthy upgrade. Quick Performance complete 3rd member I’ve bought several...

    Limited slip differential installation.

Wish I could say that, I’ve never done one on a lift😂 As stated above. 9” is almost the easiest, second only to a 14 bolt. Watch some videos and decide. You do need a magnetic base, dial indicator, and a way to press the bearings on the new differential, the rest is just basic hand tools.

Speedometer Gear with Dana 20 HD 32 spline rear output

It’s a voodoo science as far as I’m concerned but do know a guy that does calibrate them, but he won’t do Ford stuff I tried, he says he has plenty to do.

To Lock, or Not to Lock... That is the Question

Guess I’m a gluten for punishment. I just ordered a grizzly locker for the rear of another DD.

Speedometer Gear with Dana 20 HD 32 spline rear output

Couple of things First it is entirely possible that your speedometer was recalibrated sometime in the past for different tires, gear ratio, ect. So the math doesn’t lie. Second rolling radius is a myth unless you are running bias ply tires. I know there is going to be push back but physics...

    My LS3/6L80e Engine Swap…..no haters please.🙏

Your angel is going to be better than many of us run. Some have to run a limit strap on the axle ti prevent over angling the ujoints to prevent an explosion from them binding.

    Gen6 and Snow!

The reports I’ve had on the Good Years have been impressive on their snow performance. Which makes sense, that was a snow tire they sold in Canada and began selling here for the bronco and now a few other performance related 4x4’s.
