1976 Distributor Vacuum Advance Route To Motorcraft 2150 Carb?

Thanks gnpenning, no we don't have an emissions standard here in Iowa. I just want to keep everything original on this bronco. I bought it from my neighbor who bought it new. It was all original inside the engine bay, smog and everything and I tore it all down numerous years ago but took lots of...

1976 Distributor Vacuum Advance Route To Motorcraft 2150 Carb?

Mine doesn't have a vacuum switch on the thermostat housing, just this one right behind it that is screwed into the manifold. The EGR valve on the back of the carb does run to this switch and is hooked up in the picture. The other port on the switch has a T on it with 2 open ports. Do I run a...

1976 Distributor Vacuum Advance Route To Motorcraft 2150 Carb?

I'm getting close to starting the 302 in my 1976 Bronco that I have been restoring back to original and have a vacuum line question. The distributor, I'm assuming wants ported vacuum and the 2150 carb has the ported vacuum line on the side of the carb on the passenger side of the vehicle. (see...

Windshield Washer Tank Install (and pics of restoration winding down)

I got the tank dilemma figured out. The 73 to 78 ford pickups used the same tank as the bronco but they added the metal shield to them because they were mounted parallel with the manifold and it was used for heat deflection. Mine is even date coded correct, august of 75, they just used one for...

Windshield Washer Tank Install (and pics of restoration winding down)

I have a question on installing the washer fluid box on my 76 bronco. There are three holes in the tank to bolt to the fender well. I can get the top two holes lined up but the bottom hole is about two inches from sitting flat with the fender well. I can tell all three holes were used as...

I am looking for someone with an original 1976 or 77 bronco to take photos of the engine compartment area. Mainly need wire harness routes, solenoid area etc of the entire engine area. The more pics the better as I am putting things back together following the frame off restoration that started...

Question On Putting Rubber Floor In

I'm installing the rubber floor kit in my 76 and was wondering what you guys do, drill out the holes for the seats in the rubber floor or cut the complete contact surface area out with a razor knife? The reason I ask is because there are double holes close to each other in the seat frame and...

Red and Orange Wires to the Heater High and LowSwitch

I did some more searching and found the answer to my question. The red wire goes on the drivers side and orange wire to the passenger side.

Red and Orange Wires to the Heater High and LowSwitch

I'm installing my rebuilt heater box and dash in my bronco after being apart for years and am asking how the red and orange wires are orientated on the back of the dash at the high low switch. Can someone post a wiring diagram of this area or tell me which side of the bronco (driver and...

    Dulling stainless steel shine

I would use either the red or gray scotchbrite. the red is equivalent to 400 sand paper and the gray around 600-800. I'd test both and see what finish you want. I have done it a number of times but I am the guy that likes to polish mine to a mirror rather than dull it.

    James Duff customer service sucks

Powder coat is a son of a gun to sand blast and sand. They should have plugs installed in the holes when they powder coat. Regular paint is bad enough to clean out of holes.
