I have a question on installing the washer fluid box on my 76 bronco. There are three holes in the tank to bolt to the fender well. I can get the top two holes lined up but the bottom hole is about two inches from sitting flat with the fender well. I can tell all three holes were used as there are marks in the plastic where the bolts were and its original. Is there a spacer that fits between them? It's been 15 years since I took it apart and don't remember. Also is a pic of a clip I'm not sure what it was used for, any ideas? Also a couple pics of the progress I have made after one year of getting back to it. I love how the rubber floor from Toms fit and looks as well as the stainless floor trim pieces. Thanks Paul

That clip looks like one of the ones that secure the door panel to the door. Can't help with the washer fluid tank though. And that rubber mat does look good!

I got the tank dilemma figured out. The 73 to 78 ford pickups used the same tank as the bronco but they added the metal shield to them because they were mounted parallel with the manifold and it was used for heat deflection. Mine is even date coded correct, august of 75, they just used one for a pickup with the tin shield instead of one without by mistake. after looking more closely I see that they didn't use the bottom hole after all. The shield just snaps on so an easy fix and still the original part which I am striving for with this.
