TX Rear bench seat with no arm rests

Price lowered to $100 (anyone know how I do that in the listing details?) Make an offer before the seat gets thrown out!

TX Rear bench seat with no arm rests

Vinyl is in pretty good shape. One small tear about an inch long. 4 year old for scale. Need to make some room in the garage and going with aftermarket seats. Looking to sell fast, so open to offers. Shipping would probably be prohibitive, but I'm willing to package it up and use my Fedex...

    TX 1966 bucket seats

I've got a set. I'm in Katy, west of Houston. I'll shoot you a PM. ---EDIT--- Scratch that. I responded too quickly. Mine are stock seats from a 69, not a 66. Good luck!

What kind of roll cage is that? A BroncoBob family cage? Looks like some close clearance with the roll cage. What’s the tallest person that’s sat in the back without hitting their head? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Unbelievable Bronco Story + build thread

Thanks for the feedback! I fit in the Bronco with the stock seats and it looks like you mounted them as low as they can go. I pulled the trigger on a set and will give them a try in a few days - fingers crossed!

Unbelievable Bronco Story + build thread

Great build and great story! I lost my dad to C when I was young and now I'm building a bronco with my boys to build our relationship and their skills. How are the JK seats working out for you? You seem pretty tall in your picture - I'm 6'7". Do you have any issues with headroom or hitting...

'68 Coyote Luber Build Thread - Build is Finished!!!

Do you have any more pictures of the rear seat? It’s from an early generation JK Jeep, right? (2007-2010) I’m looking to put the same in my build - looks safer and more comfortable for the kiddos. How was the fit? Thanks and beautiful truck!

    SOLD WTB: Frame or Rotisserie

Thanks for the replies. I picked one up this weekend. Hopefully I'll be listing it for sale within a year, and not in 5-10!

    SOLD 1969 Uncut 26k Miles 99% Original

Y'all are killing me! I've been having serious seller's remorse, but glad to see it went to a loving home. I'll miss it, but now I have space to split my tub and frame and get serious about the frame-off restoration of my other 69. Thanks for all the good vibes. Marking this as sold.

    SOLD WTB: Frame or Rotisserie

Looking for a frame to use for a rotisserie. Or if you have a rotisserie for sale, that'd work too. I'd prefer to mount the body to a frame, but I'm open to ideas.

    SOLD 1969 Uncut 26k Miles 99% Original

Well, trailerjack was right. Had a commitment to buy in less than 24 hours. Gent drove 7 hours yesterday to pick it up this morning and it just left on a trailer. It was hard to say goodbye, but glad it’ll be going to an owner who wants to keep it near stock and will give it more time then...

    SOLD 1969 Uncut 26k Miles 99% Original

Thanks guys! I've had a bunch of inquiries. It's a great rig and I really struggle listing it. I am SLOWLY working on another uncut 69, goal is to do a full frame off resto-mod. It needs much more work than this one - new front clip, new radiator support, new hood, engine rebuild. Basically...

    Interpreting compression test results

Well - bad news. Looks like the piston rings are shot. Results from dry compression test: 1 - 170 2 - 170 3 - 170 4 - 100 (looks like this one has a problem too!) 5 - 150 6 - 65 (it dropped 20 psi in a week) Results from wet compression test (squirting in a couple tablespoons of oil into...

    Interpreting compression test results

Haha - sometimes I do need to venture outside the forums to get answers. I called a local reputable shop in Houston - Texon Motors - and the valve job including new hardened seats is $225. Not too shabby! Now, fingers crossed this is not a bad piston ring...

    Interpreting compression test results

Do you know approx how much it costs to have the hardened seat inserts put in? Is that all that's needed to make the head good for unleaded fuel? It's either that or put in the additives, right?

    Interpreting compression test results

Awesome. Thanks for the help! Here's what I'm going to do this week (as soon as I finish some critical home repairs) in this order to continue the diagnosis: Perform a dry compression test on the bad cylinder then again with the plug tightened on the neighboring cylinder to double check there...

    Interpreting compression test results

I have been getting some oil and white smoke coming out of both the valve covers, getting into the line from the oil cap to the air filter housing and probably into the carb. So, to start, I did a compression test. This is an I6 170 here, so don't be surprised by a couple missing cylinders: 1...
