    Automatic transmission problem...

Way too much gearing and not enough brakes. Also probably not enough stall. Hydroboost is a huge benefit with an auto trans too. I run a 4R70W/Blackbox Titan/ NP205 with 5:13 gears in my rig, and rarely use low-low. Most of the time I use the 1.96:1 low range in the 205 so I can actually get...

    4 link, ORI's, narrowed D60w/only 2.5" lift, 5"+WB stretch, 2" floor lower, P/S....,

That looks really good Brian. Mine was acting up a bit today, which makes me want to do the Holley system too!

    Eibach vs Bilstein

Either of those would be an upgrade over what you have now. I ran a single Bilstein at each corner for years and it handled great. 7100 series short bodies with 360/80 valving up front, and 5165 series with 255/70 valving in the rear.

Looking for pics of body trimming for larger tires

Here’s mine on 37’s with the equivalent of 3” suspension and 2” body lift. Front axle is 1.5” forward and rear is back 1”. I have no inner sheet metal up front, but the fenders and grill are bolted solidly to 1.5” round tubing.

Hey Brian, remember me saying it almost sounded like you were running in open loop and that it seems like an awful lot of timing? 🧐

    np205 fit issues?

That’s quite similar to the setup I’ve been running for a few years now.

What are you using for the upper rad hose-Explorer front dress- standard rad fitting orientation- BCB brackets- sag pump

I used the cut and turned stock hose with both a York and Sanden A/C compressor.

Update on Build and Questions on Wiring and Injectors. It Runs, but now it is Smokey

I would send the original Ford injectors off to be sonic cleaned and tested.

What are you using for the upper rad hose-Explorer front dress- standard rad fitting orientation- BCB brackets- sag pump

I used a 90 degree stat housing and a stock Bronco upper hose that I cut and turned using a hose coupler and some clamps. Used the same hose when I swapped to a reverse outlet radiator.

Explorer serpentine Saginaw Pump belt issue

Brian, I remember that day when you kept losing your belt and we determined it was the tensioner. It sucked that you had to bail early, but thank goodness it was an easy fix when you got home. I run that same bracket, but with an A/C compressor. First I used a York for onboard air, and now I...

'76 Bronco Temp Sensor Pegged w/ & w/o being plugged in?

The looped red/green wire is the ballast resistor for the ignition coil. It’s supposed to get pretty warm, so no worries there.

    Flex Plate Help 302 / c4

https://www.wildhorses4x4.com/73-77-ford-bronco-50-oz-automatic-flex-plate-164-tooth This is the correct flexplate for your engine and transmission combo. Just make sure that the torque converter has the 11.4” (11-3/8”) bolt pattern and you’ll be good to go. I’d also recommend replacing the...

ISO shop to help 4r70w Transmission over heating

Does it shudder all the time when it’s in 4th gear, or only when the TCC is engaged? Also, when the shop put new clutches in the transmission, did they look at the valve body and servos?

    np205 fit issues?

I run a 4R70W/Titan/205 combo and have two crossmembers. Both of them are poly mounted at the frame ends as well as at the center points where they attach to the trans adapter and rear of the 205. No issues with flex, and I use my Bronco mainly offroad.

    Need a radiator......questions

No plans for big engine upgrades in the near future? 3-row with a proper shroud will be fine. Anything much beyond stock engine usually warrants an upgrade to a staggered 4-row, which is a really nice unit btw.
