    Hi all, looking for a rebuilt or low mileage 302 to put in a Bronco. Will pay for shipping, looking for something as close to stock as possible, nothing crazy.

    Mismatch Body and Frame. 66 and 76

    I would say that in my experience, it seems like Ford used better (or more?) galvanizing on the rockers and possibly other panels vs later years. Not sure if there's any empirical truth to it, or not.

    Anyone eliminate stock license plate bracket?

    I sold one on BaT a few years ago that had a smooth tailgate, this is what I did (kept the stock light):

    SOLD 1971 Bronco on BaT - No Reserve

    What a ride, looks like it's heading down to Florida. Definitely a fun auction, I think the final price surprised a lot of people (myself included).

    Bronco Model (Trim Package)

    Hard to say without pics, but could very well be a late 1972 Ranger, they did not have the emblem on the glovebox door. Probably the easiest way to tell is whether the dash is parchment or body color. If body color, it's a ranger (or Explorer), if parchment, it's a Sport.

    Outside mirrors and door handles;

    I feel your pain on the door handles, specifically. The best ones I have purchased are from Toms, they work really well. Every other set I've used has been awful.

    Looking for some advice and opinions on buying a 1970 Bronco

    That is a strong price for something in that condition. Prices have softened quite a bit, you could be able to get something much nicer for $75k. For reference, my newest build will be going on BaT shortly and I expect it to go for $75k, but everything is brand new. I am also in Minnesota...
