"door to cowl braces" do they mount in the interior or exterior (behind the fender skin)? Anyone have, or can get a photo of these installed?
Completed the "bronco in a box" in 3 weeks...Now finishing touches and take it apart for welding...

They are located just below the windshield hinge and form the ends of the cowl. The rectangle hole is for a cage nut that secures the ends of the dash to the cowl. They were spot welded together.

Sorry, that's the best I can do. You need someone to post up a photo that shows you how they are orientated.

I'm in the same situation of complete body replacement, so I took pictures during the dismantling process. These may be useful.
In most of these the cowl is laying firewall down, so the orientation may be confusing.

Found a couple more, when the dash was still in place.
The small screw hole is for the door seal weatherstrip.

So the two interlock with each other... interesting.

Thank you
