So i have a question. Ive put together a few ebs now and never really paid attention but, on JBG they show 66-67 a pillars and 66-77 a pillars, what is the real difference between them? Im putting a 66 together now and it needs a pillars but not sure why i would get the ones that are twice as much. Its going to just be a driver.

The 66-67 posts are found on some 68s also and yes they are different. They have a sharp angle at the bottom, where the 69 and later just gradually curve inward at the bottom.

For the record, you can make the later style hinge post work on your 66, but the striker posts are not interchangeable without changing or modifying your doors.

It has to do with the location of the striker & what doors/latches you are using. 66/67 use a round striker post and later years a more oval one. My 66 someone had put later doors on & to get it to line up I needed later strikers/door posts - PO had cut & relocated latches in the door to make it work(Not well). If you have 66 doors go with 66 door posts or you will be chasing issues.

EDIT - This is for the B pillar(totally missed that you were asking about A pillar)

This ^^^^^ is important, especially if you are grafting pieces and not replacing the entire post. They are both shaped differently and have different post positions I learned the hard way and bough the wrong ones. 66, buy 66.

I called Toms Broncos yesterday and the A pillars were back ordered to at least March, so you might want to find some while they are still available.
