Does anyone make the threaded portion of the door striker? I am talking about the piece inside the rear door post that the striker bolts to. I cannot get the bolts out of mine and want to replace if I can. I cant get a drill to go through the bolts, tried welding a but and also a bolt to the old bolt heads. Still no move. I cut off the old strikers now and just have the stub of old bolt sticking out. I may try a carbide drill bit but thought about replacing

I agree but I cant get any drill bit to touch the bolt at all. Like I said I am going to order a Carbide drill bit and try that.
