Hi, here is my 2 cents opinion. I am sure folks here will ask you what your intended use is for your truck. I was looking at Northeast Classic offerings also. New vs rebuilt, Nodular vs factory, Daytona pinion support vs non. For my purpose most of that did not matter. I was looking for a reliable replacement for my factory unit and a warranty. The one I purchased has a 1 year warranty and when I called Speedway I was able to get to tech support. When I called NE to find out more info I was told the warranty was a "gentleman's agreement". I asked to speak to the tech dept with further questions. They took my number and said I would get a call back. I never did. I am not knocking NE. Anything could have happened with the call back.
