I need pics of 15x8 steelies on your bronco. I just purchased some from Summit and the center hole is 4.25 in diameter. My original wheels have a 3.25 hole in the center. Im running 31x10.5 tires. Trying to see if they will stick out past the front fenders. Pics will be greatly appreciated and any insight on these would be nice too.

on a stock Bronco the only issue will be the lower front opening of the wheel well on full turn. as you turn to full lock the edge of the tread juts into the lower fender well where the front brace supports the lower fender. depending on your load and whether the body sits centered on the frame and axle you may or may not have to fold up the inner lip of the rear fender well.

"Original" wheels on an Early Bronco with 3.25" (83mm) center bore? Should not be correct (and wouldn't even fit the front). The 4.25" center bore (108mm) is the size that you will need to clear the diameter of the front hub. 3.25" will mount on the rear (no protruding hub), but not the front.

I just measured Dana/Spicer OE hubs at 3.25". So the center hole needs to be larger than that. I'm using Kelsey Hayes 15X8" rims made for '70s Dodge 4X4s. These have 4.25" holes in the center like Jeep CJ rims. I cover the wheels with '78 Ford truck dog dish hub caps to hide the larger than needed center hole. So your Summit wheels are correct in that respect. I own a '77 so I have to also be sure my back space is less than 4" or the rim will hit the tie rod end. If your Summit rims do that, they'll work on any EB.

If you take a tape to your stock wheels you will find that they are close to 3-3/8”, just barely enough to clear the 3-1/4” hub housing. Back in the day you could order “Ford” centers or “Jeep” centers. Nowadays it seems that everything has the Jeep style “big hole” centers because they will fit Ford, Jeep, Dodge, etc., more of a universal world. You don’t need the whole 4-1/4” center hole, but they will fit fine.
I prefer the correctness and look of the “Ford small hole” wheels, but good luck finding them...
Below is a 15x8 with a small hole, 15x8 with a big hole, and a stock Bronco center.

There are/were no Ford 15X8" steel wheels as a production item. I've been looking since the '80s. I can't even find another of the ones I have. Tasker's are likely Jeep rims. They work but won't except the dog dish hub caps. Those hub caps are how I concealed the larger than Ford center hole. There was no other way to get 15X8" steel wheels that look original. Wheel Vintiques told me they can't or won't make them either. I have to ask House who did make his 15X8" steel wheels with the Ford center hole. I was very lucky to find the Kelsey Hayes NOS wheels I have after they quit making them. I also found a '60s Ford truck 16X5" wheel to use as a spare. That one was stamped with both a Ford oval and K/H. I use it as a light weight spare.

@pmansfield64 that's a beautiful setup. did your OEM wheel covers fit on the Wheel Vintiques 62 series without any issues? I have been getting some conflicting information on if my OEM wheel covers for my 1970 sport (full covers just like yours) would be compatible with the 62 series. I'm looking to find a wider steel "replica" in a 15x8 that will accept my OEM wheel covers. Thanks in advance!
