It does seem to be harder to find wheels that I like anymore. A lot of them are so complex they”d be a cleaning nightmare. In looking at those Walker Evans wheels they only list those 17x9 in forged which are $$$. The flow formed wheels are less and come in 17x8.5. Are flow formed still a pretty good wheel? I”m not looking to do stuff on the 10 end of the scale but would like something to get to cool spots when necessary.

The flow cast wheels are strong. Walker wheels are strong by design. I’ve seen them broken but they were the least of the broken worries when it happened😂

Was more worried a helicopter ride was in order😳

I wouldn’t think twice about buying them if you like them, which I do.

Never good when a helicopter is in the cards!
I’d like to find a dealer around but haven’t run across one yet. Thanks for the info Steve! Good to hear!

Factory Dodge Power Wagon forged alloys, 17"x 9", 8 x 6.5, 6.25" backspacing.

My '71 has full width, 8 lug, disk brake D44 front and full float D60 rear, needed larger diameter wheels to clear the calipers. These wheels are strong, light, look great, fit great, clear calipers on 12" rotors, have a lot of offset to pull the tires back into the fenderwells, and can be found on eBay, FBM, and CL for a couple hundred a set.

What’s the back spacing on those?
