lol I had one around the same year, my wife's uncle gave to me. had decent paint and almost no rust, really in pretty good shape. the mixer was all gummed up so I just mixed the gas and oil;D 4 speed on the column kind of strange. I think I got it up to 35 mph once, pretty sure the brakes were dragging%)
Actually, behavior like this is a good thing.
We've seen the price (not value) of rust bucket Broncos going up, up, up.
When I was a kid, there was a Labrador Retriever puppy mill in my neighborhood. If they got a litter that wasn't up to par, they would eliminate the puppies. It's a gene pool thing.
Why not eliminate the Broncos that will never come up to par?
Obviously there are some that are messing up the Bronco name.
