I'm in the middle of a frame off resto and the clips that hold the tail light wires are impossible to remove without destroying. I've found new ones online but I'm not sure how to install them as it looks like the factory "smushed" the part that goes in the frame somehow. Anyone know how to pull this off? I've searched the forum and only ran across a few references to the clips. TIA!

Interested to hear what others have done as well. Successfully that is!
But I always thought the removal process was just punching the pin inward until it fell into the frame. Making it pretty much a one-time use deal.

What do the reproductions you got look like, and where did you get them?

Good luck.

He could be talking about the earlier style metal ones Paul that typically you have to destroy to get them out of the frame holes?
