Hey guys. I have rebuilt two different carbs twice and vatted both carbs twice and still my bronco still won't idle at low rpm. To get it to idle, you almost have to completely choke it. Any help or advice?

You have a vacume leak some where. That is why you have to choke it down. It is sucking air in some where other than the ventury.

Ditto, a 170 should pure all day long. Most likely source is vacuum line from under carb plate to dizzy or vacuum operated wipers, or a bad gasket under carb.

Did it idle before? I ask as when is the last time it idled well? Might be time to check compression, timing, spark, etc...

You can check for leaks and timing with a cheap and simple to use vacuum gauge. If you already know this, then please feel free to ignore.
