I'll spare anyone looking at this ad the novel I have written about this Bronco in the past.
Here's the skinny:
Clear NC title in hand
1966 Bronco Roadster model
September 1965 build
Original color: Arcadian blue
Original engine: 170 CID
Original trans: 3 speed
Dana 30 front
4.56/7 gears
Standard bearing 9" rear
Bench seat
Currently the Bronco has NO engine or transmission. PO replaced the original 170 with a 200 from a '70 Maverick. I had planned to pick up a new motor for a resto, never happened.
The body on this thing is ROUGH. If you are not invested in a detailed body work intensive restoration or in procuring a new tub, this project is NOT for you.
As rough as this thing sounds, you're likely surprised to see it in the Broncos for Sale section.
I am NOT interested in parting this truck out. I have owned it for 11 years. If I wanted to send it to a scrap yard/made a couple of hundred out of chopping it up, I would have done that years ago. I want to see this thing make it back on the road. Unfortunately, my job does not provide me with enough free time or stability to see this project through. Took me about a year to get to the point I am willing to part with it.
Truck is located in Colorado Springs in a storage unit at the moment. It has pretty much been in a garage or storage since 2004 when I tore it apart.
Ask any questions you like. Link included for some pics of the truck.
