Hi there first time poster. My Dad bought this bronco about 14 years ago as a project that we would work on together. Unfortunately his health took a turn shortly after and he spent last last 10 years on dialysis and going through multiple issues. We never really had a chance to get the project off the ground. He passed away about a week ago after a long battle. Went out to look at it and was able to match up the vin on the frame from the registation card. U13FL739099. Unfortunately the warranty plate on the kick panel is long gone so i dont have the other information. It will be a pretty huge undertaking but i would like to start working on it and this seems like the best place for guidance. Thank you in advance!

I did a double-take when I saw that VIN until I looked at the pic and realized that I think it's actually 739xxx, not 729xxx. Broncos started with 732000.

Sorry to hear about your dad's passing.
It's a fairly early August 65' build. Since the inner fenders and hood are the originals, looks like it was originally Springtime Yellow. You can have another warranty badge made at Marti Auto, you'd just have to figure out all the info for them since they only go back to 67'.

If you know about where it was sold new, that would tell you the most difficult info to come up with. Axle code, color, seats, etc are easy to determine usually.

Thank you for the insight. I didnt know about the inner fenders and actually thought it might have been holly greem from the paint on the frame by the door. Lord knows how many times it was painted. It was last registered in NC and that i know my Dad got it right near the state line of GA, NC, and Tennesee. But unfortunately no other info.
