I've tried to search without concrete results. I have a '67 289 V8 with the original vacuum wipers. My fuel pump has been leaking and I can't seem to find a gasket kit to repair it. I also can't seem to find a new/rebuilt pump that lists that it's for a V8. All the ones that I've found look the same as the one I have but list for the 6 cyl. Will the one for the 6 cyl work for my V8 engine? I don't really want to convert to electric wipers as I want to keep it as stock as possible. Thanks y'all! -Zach

For some strange reason the 6-cyl is the only readily available one. I've heard a few times that your best bet for the V8 one is finding someone to rebuild your existing one. I have no idea who'd rebuild a fuel pump, but someone out there must do it.

I have one your welcome to have for the shipping charges. It shouldn't be too bad. It only weighs about 3 lbs. This one is from a '68 and worked without leaking. Just PM me with your address. Someone must have rebuilding kits for these.
