This Bronco moved on its own power today sence 1978. What a great feeling getting a two year project on the road for the first time.
I have put rattle can primer to stop any rust from comming back from my work. I am not a body and paint person. This Bronco is very solid and will last for many years as is or detailed and painted. I have had little interest on the sale here and may look at aucttions. From what I have seen I have been asking a reasonable price of 32k when detailed and painted this should be doubled.
I worked alone on this prroject for two years. I am 83 years old and have done this twice and have fulfilled my desires and have to sell. At 32K there is little profet. As with most all Classic Bronco owners this Bronco will never be completly completed. Just look at whats out there and we just have to do that and if you are like me the only thing stoping us is you have to look over your shoulder at the War department for funding.
A 1967 U15 Bronco Sport that has not been on the road sence 1978. It appears that it first appeared in the Lake Tahoe CA area in the Late sixties and seventies. The last year it was regestered was 1978. It had engine problems and sit for years. It was given to his grandson that was in the Army. It was then brought to WA and set for years. Late 2019 and early 2020 it was stripped and engine sent to a shop in Olmpia WA and completly rebuilt. Heads were redone with new valves seats and springs for use of lead free gas. Block was bored .030 over then balanced for a C4 automatic transmission. The project became overwelming with the cost and amount of work required of doing a rebuild and was sold on eBay to me the high bidder. It had a fair amount of rust in the usal places that I have repaired or replaced. Now it has Zero miles on the rebuild. I am still working on the little details. This has been a two year project, I love it but because of my age I must let it go. You could be the first to drive it in a couple weeks.
