Did the 16" optional wheels come with the full wheelcovers?
and if so are they the same size as 15" wheel equipped broncos in 1967?
Mine currently doesn't have wheelcovers and I didn't know if it was correct this way?

You could order them with 16's, however I have never seen any covers for them. I have seen some use the FORD dog dish covers

My '68 came from the factory with 16 inch wheels, still have them, and it's on the build sheet I requested from Ford.

I do not believe the 16" wheels came with wheel covers.
The standard Broncos with 15" did not come with them either, they were an option...

YES! Broncos could have had the 16" steel wheel option through the 1973 model year! It seems they were more common on the earlier ones though; ie '66,'67, '68, . No hub caps were never offered on the 16" wheel option, but the right size "dog dish" caps will work.

The caps that I often see on the 16" wheels are the caps that were stock on '65 fairlanes.

I kept one from my '68 to use as a spare on the swing away carrier. They are very narrow, 4" I think, but the 6.50x16 tires are almost as tall as 10.50x15 tires, while weighing a lot less and taking up a lot less room. Kelsy-Hayes made them and they're stamped with both the Ford oval and KH. Perfect choice for a heavy duty space saver spare, that's not going to beat up the swing away carrier. They also easily fit behind the back seat.

My moms 67 with 16" optional wheels

No wheel covers were used with these, although I too have seen a few with "dog dish" hub caps from pickups that people have added on. I prefer them without.

As stated above 16's were options but never had wheel covers. If you decide you want wheels covers and 15's, I'm happy to buy your 16's.

Only as a " matter of interest" :) in 1971 the optional "Tube-type 6.50x16 6pr TT tires" were an extra $68.70. But that was for 5 -- the standard tire was E-78x15 with "bright - metal wheel covers {w/15 in. wheels only}
