1967 Ford Bronco, 351w, C4 auto, PS, disc brakes, U15, 2 ½ lift w/Bilstein shocks, 4.56 gears (w/positrac), 33x10.5 r15 BFG tires on aluminum slots, Bailiebilt cage, Corbeau seats w/4-point harnesses, Winters shifter with custom console. Motor is stock internal 1969 351w high compression with Edelbrock intake and carb, pertronix ignition, shorty headers, and 2 in to 1 2 ½ exhaust. 23-gallon fuel tank, 3-core aluminum radiator. New Yukon rear Axle shafts with bearings. All brake parts were replaced. The body is in great condition that is all still original steel minus the fiberglass hood. In other words, no sheet metal has been removed and replaced, and the original Wimbledon white paint is under the Brown “Earl Scheib” respray from 1970. When I purchased the Bronco I replaced the entire fuel system (including hoses, lines, pump and added 23 gallon fuel cell rear tank), cooling system to include 3-core radiator, hoses, water pump, and heater core (and upgraded heater fan). It is a daily driver and is a blast to drive, whether you are driving in town, or on the highway. Aside from that, the Bronco has some provenance that includes the 4.56 gears being installed by Bill Stroppe at his Long Beach shop. Both previous owners (Buz Kaido and Jim Brightly, 4-Wheel Tech. Editor) were friends/clients of Bill Stroppe and the Bronco made frequent trips to the shop for motor, transmission, and drivetrain swaps. The Bronco does sport “Stroppe Team” stickers, and original glove box artwork from these owners that make it very unique, and a fun story. Yes, the original drivetrain is still intact and works great. This is not a Midwest bronco, it was delivered to Los Angeles, and spent most of its life there, or in a barn in Hillsboro, Missouri. Included in the sale are various “upgrade” parts that I was going to use for “restoration” to showroom condition.
I’m getting ready to relocate and not sure I’ll have space.
