I'm sure some of you have seen this Bronco on the trail or maybe a few times in Bronco Driver. I've taken it to a lot of events over the years. This is a very solid and capable crawler. This is a as is deal. All it really needs is cosmetic work, for starters a car wash, the desert is nice because nothing rusts but everything gets covered in dust. The tie rod for the hydraulic ram needs replaced. It has a nice bow shape to it from rocks. I was planning on putting the ram behind the axle with a high steer arm. The rear pinion seal has a slow leak. I also have a nice 2014 PJ 83 x 16 Channel Utility Trailer w/removable rails, LED lights, and Ramps. I used it to haul the Bronco.
The trailer has a Husky aluminum diamond truck bed tool box I mounted to the front of it. I have maybe 3k miles on the trailer. PJ makes a really nice trailer this one was $2,700 new. I would like to sell both as a package deal. I can't sell the trailer until I have the Bronco sold. Located in Albuquerque, N.M. I can deliver for a price. $2,200
1968 Ford Bronco buggy
Engine: 302 bored .30 over. It has a mild build and runs on propane. It's set up for dual fuel but I never found a reason to install a separate tank for the gas so I just ran the 10 gallon LP tanks. 2 LP tanks are included. The LP works awesome and the motor runs good
Transmission: Fresh C4 tranny with 2 tranny coolers, the second cooler has an electric fan. I had it rebuilt in Dallas before I moved to ABQ. It has 150 miles at the most on the rebuild. Will handle 400 hp. No reverse manual valve body.
Transfercase: Atlas II Transfercase w/5.0 gears and 31 spline outputs
Bronco still has 3/4 of the frame. The firewall and frame are tied into the cage. The cage was made out of 1.5" .120 wall DOM tubing. The cage was professionally welded.
Belly pan is 1/2" UMHW with .25 aluminum plate behind it
Bronco skins have rock damage but it still resembles a Bronco and I they are easy to replace
106" wheel base
Custom removable dash with Stewart Warner gauges
All of the wiring was replaced and is easy to access. It was simplified. All of the Bronco panels are removable so everything is easy to work on.
Brakes: 4 wheel disc with Wildhorses hydroboost brake set up and dual CNC rear turning hand brakes for front digs
Rear suspension: 4 link rear with 2" Fox Air Shocks and Currie Anti Rock Sway bar
Front suspension: Cage Long arms, Wildhorse 3.5" Rock Crawl Coils, Rancho 9000 shocks, Bilstein hydraulic bump stops.
Steering: PSC full hydraulic steering system with single ended ram, tie rod is over the knuckles and is made out of 1.5" .50 wall DOM but its bent and probably needs to be replaced. Easy fix if you have a good back.
Rear axle: 4.56 gears w/Currie 9 + third member, Detroit locker, 31 spline Currie axles, disc brakes, and other things I'm forgetting
Front axle: 78 Ford Dana HP60 narrowed with Chevy knuckles, Dynatrac 5 on 5.5 disc brake conversion kit, ARB locker, 4.56 gears, Yukon Chromoly axles with 35 spline outers, CTM Ujoints, and Poly Performance drive flanges. Over $5k just in front axle.
Comp sticky compound 40" Maxxis Creppy Crawlers on American Racing ATX Aluminum Beadlocks. The beadlock rings are full of rock rash but new rings can be purchased from any ATX dealer for $50 a wheel.
Warn 9000 wench with synthetic rope
It has several other items not listed so feel free to ask questions or request more pictures. I hate to let her go but my back has failed me so I can't handle her anymore. http://albuquerque.craigslist.org/cto/5080396974.htmlCell 505-274-6176
