Thanks for the responses.

Todd, have you seen it in person? It appears as though it has had an undercoating put on and at least one floor board replaced/covered/patched. Just can not get an idea of what it is 'covering up'.

I've seen it in person although I'll admit I haven't looked at it closely. In looking at the pics, I can see that the driver's side floorboard does have some repairs done to it. I get down there every few weeks and could take a closer look at it the next time I'm there (maybe next week?).
