I am finally accepting the fact that I will never get around to this project. I have a 1968 rolling chassis. It has a Dana 44 with disc. Unknown suspension lift. I'd guess about 3". Practically no rust. Door posts are great. Floor boards are great as well. Entire underside of tub and frame have been undercoated. No motor or tranny. I do have the 289 that was in it, but I have no idea if it is any good. I will include it at no charge. I do have the original Dana 20. We were going to spray line entire exterior and interior, so much of the exterior is coated in Blue and silver Superliner. Roll bar is crap. I would start all over with that. Is sitting on 31" wildcat tires on 1986 bronco rims. Has F150 4X4 steering box on it right now. Has a 2" body lift. Body is really solid as is the frame. No glass for windsheild. No Hood. No bumpers. I may just end up parting it out, so let me know if you are looking for anything. Please let me know if you have any questions.

What's bottom dollar for a bama boy? Just how many eb's do you have? Small bearing rear?

Brian, I'm not sure on the rear end. It doesn't have any brakes on it right now and I'm not sure what to look for. It does hane 4.11 gears and a limited slip in the front end.

As for EB's, I have too many and that's why I'm abandoning this one.

As for price, it really depends on what you want off of it. If you want to come look at it, let me know.

Might be interested in the whole eb? Got mine tore apart to rebuild but would rather have another solid eb to build into a trail rig. Will let you know on the looking at.

Thanks,
Brian

I'm back from vacation if anyone has any questions.

It is still available.

Tub is solid with just a little surface rust where the roll bar was attatched. It does not need any repair.

4.11 gears, disk brakes, LS on the Dana 44.

You would probably want to have it blasted. It would be pretty labor intensive to grind and/or peel it.

I may be interested in another project, what year d44 is it? 76 77 or a converted earlier D44? How much of the steering is hooked up? J or T shift D20. Thanks,

JT

I'm pretty sure the 44 is an earlier year converted to disk. There is no steering column. F150 box is mounted to the frame, but not hooked up to anything else, and linkage is mounted to the axle only. The Dana 20 is the original T-shift from the 68. Doors are also original 68 doors with removable frames.
