Holy cow great info all around! That’s so much for the info on axles and codes! So my first vin reads U15FLC86688 below that reads

092 J U150 1 98 C 03

Welcome aboard!

And from your VIN, it reads:
U15 - U-100 wagon
F - 170 cid 6 cyl
L - built at Michigan truck plant
C86688 - Feb 1968 build date

Sounds like a nice find, I wish the rummage sales around here had Broncos!

Thanks NewDog! I am making a youtube video and will post it here so you can get a view of it! I found the rummage sale on facebook marketplace it was about 2 hours from me so i took the chance and went down there to see if i could make a deal. It took me about 20 minutes to get it on the trailer after the deal was made and about 8 people showed up to come see if it was still for sale.

Sounds like a good find, but being bought at a rummage sale, please don't tell us you paid like .50 cents for it! Good luck and enjoy!

Thanks for the screen shot house! And thank you for the kind words svastano! I didn’t want to go into so much detail because I did not want to give wrong info out!

Congratulations on the find and welcome to this awesome hobby.

It looks like you have some experience reviving a few other barn finds and you have an awesome space to work in, so it should be fun to watch your progress.

As you’ve seen already, there’s plenty of support and advice available on this forum to get you through anything.
